Inspired by William Nicholson’s enchanting illustrations for The Velveteen Rabbit, children will explore storytelling and illustration through their favourite toy.

In this hands-on workshop, participants will have the option to create a book title, short story or poem, develop drawing skills using pen and ink, and learn etching techniques to bring their creations to life. Guided by creative discussion and studio still life setups, they’ll design and print their own illustrations, with the option to collage them into concertina books.

For children aged 7+.

 

What is the Easter Holiday Club?

Our Easter Holiday Club is a series of studio workshops for children, exploring a range of media in a fun and friendly environment. These workshops are led by experienced artist educators who specialise in working with children and young people. They are designed for children aged 7+.

There are three sessions to choose from. Pay £22 per session or £60 for all three. Just add your selected workshops to the basket and the discount will be applied at checkout.
